Tischendorf Racing Returns for Sophomore IRA Sprints Campaign with Professional Plating Inc. and Fabel Repair & Collision Center
Tyler Tischendorf enjoyed a breakout rookie year with the Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprints in 2022, making waves nationally as well as locally. However, the attention of the Waupaca based Tischendorf Racing team has switched completely to attacking the massive 2023 IRA Schedule.
“After having our best year of racing ever in 2022, I’m very excited to see what 2023 has in store for us.” Tyler Tischendorf stated. “We’ll be going to more different and completely new tracks this year with the amazing schedule Steve [Sinclair] and the IRA have put together for us. We’ll be running the full tour again, and that gives me the most possible seat time to continue to gain speed in the 410 car and the team more opportunities to improve the car and our notebook.”
The 2023 IRA schedule will hit six states across the upper midwest, with races at EMR I-94 Speedway in Fergus Falls, MN, Mason City Motor Speedway in Mason City, IA and Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, MO being brand new additions to the schedule this year. A doubleheader at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, ND with the Northern Outlaw Sprint Association and three nights with the All Star Circuit of Champions at Wilmot Raceway, the Dodge County Fairgrounds and the Plymouth Dirt Track also highlight the schedule. The series will also make a return to the Northern Nationals event at Gondik Law Speedway for the first time since 2019, which will also be a NOSA co-sanctioned event.
Tischendorf will also plan on three tentative dates outside of the IRA in 2023. The team made a group decision last year to skip the World of Outlaws dates in Wisconsin last year due to their focus on the IRA Rookie of the Year battle, but this season it’s full steam ahead for the family operation.
“We plan to run both Boyd Memorial dates at Beaver Dam and the Badger 40 at Wilmot as of now.” Tischendorf said about the Outlaw races. “I’m really excited for those races as I feel we’re in a much better spot this year to try and make those features and race with the best in the world. The goal for those races will just be to try and learn as much as we possibly can from those guys and what it’s like to just be on the track with them. It will be an awesome way to get more attention on our partners and our program as a whole. I know we’ll represent them well.”
The Tischendorf Racing #26 returns with a strong contingent of marketing partners for the 2023 season, along with a bold new car design courtesy of Scott King Designs.
“We’ve got some really great partners returning and we were fortunate enough to add a handful of new ones.” The 21 year old Tischendorf stated. “I can’t thank them enough for their support of Tischendorf Racing and allowing us to chase our dream!”
